Dan Cullen is a self-taught guitarist, bassist, vocalist and composer. He has over 20 years' experience as a songwriter and performer, and is now a
respected and passionate media composer. Dan's compositions have been licensed for numerous media platforms including film and contemporary dance. In addition to this, his engineering and production skills have received praise from musicians and producers alike across the globe.
He is also a highly accomplished performing musician and has worked as a lead guitarist, bassist and vocalist in rock and acoustic bands and most recently, EntropiK, a multi-genre duo with an enthusiastic and growing fan base.
Deryn Cullen has been a cellist and pianist for over 20 years, and received her musical training in South Africa, where she graduated witha PLM from the University of Stellenbosch
and a B Mus (Hons) from the South African College of Music. Since moving to the UK, she has established herself as a skilled improviser on the cello and has performed and recorded with numerous bands and groups.
Deryn's extensive work as an improvisor lead naturally to songwriting and composition which she now does alongside Dan. She has also been a teacher of music for over 10 years, and is a respected teacher of cello, piano and music theory. She recently joined the Harrogate Music Centre as Lower Strings Coach, and teaches curriculum music part time.
